Visit with Oncologist Monday, October 7th

Hi All,

First of all, thank you to everyone of you so much for all of your cards and e-mails and voice messages! I am receiving them all, but can't always get back to you....I am so grateful to you all for your support and prayers etc.

Waiting nervously to hear from Dr. Tchou with my pathology report...I will let you all know asap when I hear from her.

In the meantime U of PH called to schedule my apt. w/the oncologist for 10/7/13...my two sisters, Gretchen who is here from Colorado, and Trudy ("Gert") will be going with me. I'm very happy they are able to do that. I LOVE ALL MY SISTERS!

The surgery was Step #1, the treatment will come next...I'm trying not to be nervous about it...being nervous never helped anything....or changed anything....but I feel my treatment date is getting closer...and truth be told that does scare me a little bit.

But Psalm 27:1 says, "The LORD is my light and my salvation-- whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life-- of whom shall I be afraid?" so I'm leaning on Him right now.

Love & Thanks to all of you! Annie

PS ~ Oh yea, I forgot to tell everyone, I'm not allowed to wear deodorant for 6 weeks!
P U is all I can say to that! (What does P U stand for anyway? Does anyone know?)

  1. can't believe you had me googling P U ! haha!!
I found: 1) It's a shortened term for puteo, which is Latin for "to stink, be redolent, or smell bad." I actually called a professor of Latin at the University of Florida to verify this one.

    2) It's actually spelled "piu," but is often pronounced as "pee-yew". It's root is the Indo-European word "pu," meaning to rot or decay. A lot of other languages use this root word and have the same general meaning.
