So many people - but especially our good friends Lori Lozinski, Shay & Brady McDaniels, and Pat Schwartz - put together and awesome benefit concert for us on Saturday, May 6th. It was titled "Kickin' Cancer's Fanny For Annie!" Isn't that an awesome title?
It was just one of the most amazing nights of my life!
We just cannot thank everyone enough who helped pull-off this amazing benefit for us. It was a tremendous group effort, and we Mergotts were truly humbled by all the love....I, personally, have NEVER felt so much love in all my life!
The scrumptious food was donated by Drew Abbatte, chef from Max Hansen's Carversville General Store, Kathy O'Connell host of WXPN's Kids Corner was MC, SO MANY AMAZING musicians played, many folks donated desserts and set-up the tables and the room so beautifully - oh my! Then there was also an art auction - many works of art were donated...and the night was filled with hugs, kisses, dancing, laughter, and singing!
A huge highlight for me was getting to sing again with my girls Lori & Shay of "The Lilies."
There was also a HUGE RAINBOW outside during the concert - right above Point Pleasant Fire Hall! Thank you, God!
But the best part of all, was the PEOPLE! Such wonderful people, some I had just met, some I re-connected with, some I've known for a long, long time...

There is just no way I will ever be able to thank everyone who has helped me through my battle with breast cancer. I truly hope that one day I can thank each and every one of you.
