Thank You, God!

Hi, Everyone!

I just talked to Dr. Tchou's nurse, Beth Ann. Beth Ann's voice was "happy" as she informed me that the margins around the lump Dr. Tchou removed were clear! Meaning Dr. Tchou got all the cancer in that little spot! "Dr. Tchou is very skilled at what she does" remarked Beth Ann.....and I agree! Dr. Tchou zoned right in on the cancerous lump and got it all out - clean! Praise God! Also, the cancer HAS NOT spread to my lymph nodes! Another praise! My sentinal lymph node (the one any cancer would go to first) is cancer-free! I caught the cancer early enough, and that I attribute to the Lord. He orchestrated everything, from the timing to the surgeon.....

I know myself...if it weren't for Eli going to the week-long arts camp this past summer, and for me scheduling a yearly physical a long time ago (which I don't even recall scheduling...) and my physician asking me at that physical if I had had a mammography recently, I WOULD NOT HAVE GOTTTEN A MAMMOGRAPHY THIS YEAR AND PROBABLY NOT EVEN NEXT YEAR......."Too much of a pain" I would have said..."I'm too busy..." and I would have just put it off...Thank God I did not put it off.

I asked the nurse if this kind of news is common and she said "NO! It is not common to have such good news!"  Praise the Lord again! I will meet with the oncologist on Monday 10/7. My sisters, Trudy & Gretchen, are going with me.
